A project to provide a community space for young children to play.
Appin community playpark is located in Port Appin on land owned by Appin Community Development Trust. The playpark was opened in Autumn 2020 and is accessed via Shuna View (turning by the doctor’s surgery).
The playpark is managed by Appin Young Families Group and designed for use by young children up to 12 years of age, under the supervision of their parents or carers. The playpark is open to all children, both residents of Appin and visitors and includes equipment that is accessible to children with mobility difficulties.

Support both from the community of Appin and further afield is vital to the creation and long term maintenance of our playpark. This support will help us ensure that the facility stays clean, safe and fun for all our young children, their parents, grandparents and carers.
