Appin Village Hall is available for hire by any individual or organisation, private or public, for all types of meeting or event.
The hall, situated in the village of Appin in North Argyll is easily accessible from the main trunk road, A828. Popular hall uses include:

Capacity
The suggested hall capacity is:
130 for seated events in rows
80 for seated events with tables and chairs
120 for a dance or party

Facilities in the hall include:
Entrance Foyer
Welcome area, ticket sales etc.
Main Hall
This is large enough for a full badminton court (marked out) and has in addition, a stage, fully curtained with stage lighting and sound.
Kitchen
Fully equipped with 5 ring electric range cooker + 2 ovens and grill, small fridge and dishwasher. Crockery, cutlery,serving dishes and glasses.
Corridor
Ample coat hooks.
Back Room
Multiple use for storage, changing room etc.
Toilets
Gents toilet & urinals. Ladies toilet with 4 cubicles. Disabled toilet.
Tables & Chairs
Selection of large or small folding tables and ample padded chairs.
Internet Connection
The Hall has free open WiFi for limited general use. Full use of the secure super fast broadband is available for a small charge. Please add to your booking form and a password will be supplied.
Parking
The Hall has its own car park and a ramp or steps to the double door entrance. Additional parking in the large community car park opposite the Hall.
Hire Charges

Local Hire: £5 an hour £40 local ceilidh £80 party £150 wedding
Outside Hire: £8 an hour £80 full day £50 half day
Heating is extra with meters that take £1 and £2 coins.
Commercial use of kitchen: £50
