Residents should note the defibrillator at Appin Hall failed and was withdrawn from service over 12 months ago, due to water ingress. It will shortly be replaced with a new unit in a new heated and watertight cabinet. When this is done, it will be formally re-registered with the Scottish Ambulance Service so emergency callers to 999 can again be directed to it accordingly.
Until such time, publicly available defibrillators are located at:
- Linnhe Marine PA38 4BN
- Tom-a-Ghiuthais, Fasnacloich, Glen Creran PA38 4BJ (registered with S.A.S.)
In an emergency, always call 999 to find where the nearest publicly available defibrillator is located.
